Anaerobic

The word anaerobic means "without oxygen". Anaerobic exercise cannot last long because oxygen is not used for energy, hence lactic acid is produced.

This is your weight lifting program. Anaerobic activities are short in duration but high in intensity. These activities include resistance training, sprinting, HIIT (high intensity interval training), or any rapid burst of exercise.

Anaerobic exercise utilize your muscles at a higher intensity for a shorter period of time, it helps in;

  1. develop stronger muscles
  2. build BIGGER muscles
  3. increase bone strength and density
  4. boost your metabolism
  5. reshapes your body and appearance
Best of all, it creates a mental high in your mind that you know you just did something. Nobody gives it to you, it's yours to have it or not to have it.
